Step 2: Thorough Vacuuming
We vacuum the entire interior, including carpets, seats, floor mats, and hard-to-reach areas, to remove debris, pet hair, and dirt that may be holding onto odors. The goal of not just the vacuuming, but the entire process is to remove the source of the odor.
Step 3: Deep Cleaning Fabrics and Surfaces
For fabric seats and carpets, we shampoo and extract embedded dirt and bacteria. Leather and plastic surfaces are cleaned with safe, high-quality products to eliminate
buildup. If necessary, a steamer is used for deep cleaning.

Will The Odor Be 100% Removed?
In most cases, we see a significant improvement, if not full removal. However, this is highly dependent on the condition of your interior and the severity of the odor.
For extreme conditions, if you really want to make the most dramatic difference in the odor, the most ideal situation would be to replace certain fabrics like the headliner, carpet, or floor mats based on the condition.
If the interior has been smoked in for years and the headliner is black from the smoke and worn down, there’s only so much we can do to it. In that situation, replacing the headliner would significantly help with the odor.
That being said, it’s not commonplace to replace headliners or carpeting inside of cars so instead of removing the odor entirely, we can reduce it with our cleaning process.
That’s why this type of job can take one to two days to complete. Not only may the cleaning itself take longer than usual, but we’d also have to run the ozone machine and that can take several hours to run, air out, inspect, and potentially run the ozone machine again.
